✈️ Airplane
- Several domestic airlines operate direct flights from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and Don Mueang Airport (DMK) in Bangkok to Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX). The flight duration is approximately 1 hour and 15–20 minutes. There are more than 150 flights per day, departing from early morning (around 06:00) to late evening (up to 22:40).
- These flights are operated by several domestic airlines, including Thai Airways, Bangkok Airways, Thai AirAsia, Thai VietJet Air and Nok Air
- Additional direct flights are available from Phuket, Krabi, and international cities such as Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Seoul.
- Upon arrival at CNX, you can take a metered taxi or use a ride-hailing service (Grab) to reach The Empress Convention Center and Hotel, which is about 6 km (a 16-minute drive) from the airport. The taxi costs approximately 150 THB (4.5 USD)

🚌 Bus
- The journey from Mo Chit Bus Terminal in Bangkok to Chiang Mai Bus Terminal 3 takes about 10-11 hours.
- Ticket prices range from 16 USD to 35 USD, depending on the bus company and service class. Major bus companies include Nakhonchai Air, Sombat Tour, Bangkok Busline and Cherdchai Tour.

🚆 Train
- The journey from Hua Lamphong Railway Station in Bangkok to Chiang Mai Railway Station takes about 12-13 hours.
- First- and second-class sleeper trains are available, offering a comfortable journey.
- Trains operate 7 days a week. Please check the current timetable on the official website.
- The adult fare ranges from 17 to 46 USD, depending on the class type.
- Upon arrival at Chiang Mai Railway Station, you can take a metered taxi or use a ride-hailing service (Grab) to reach The Empress Convention Center and Hotel, which is about 4 km (a 12-minute drive) from the train station.

🚗 Car
- Driving from Bangkok to Chiang Mai takes about 9-10 hours, covering a distance of approximately 700 km.
- The main route consists of:
- Taking Motorway Route 7 from Suvarnabhumi Airport to the outskirts of Bangkok,
- Merging onto Highway 1 (Phahonyothin Road) heading north,
- Passing through provinces like Ayutthaya, Nakhon Sawan, and Lampang,
- Arriving in Chiang Mai via Highway 11.
